Why Choose Professional Dog Groomers?
Regular dog grooming benefits the health and comfort of your dog and the cleanliness of your home. Dogs with more fur are more prone to fleas and ticks. Left untreated, these pests can cause serious discomfort for your dog and even spread to you, members of your family, and your carpets and furniture. Grooming a dog isn't as simple as running it through a dog wash. It takes knowledge, the right tools, and attention to detail to groom a dog properly. The Dog Groomer has over 30 years of experience in grooming over 30 breeds of dogs. We are fully licensed and insured, and will come to your home to ensure the most comfortable environment for your dog.
If it's our first time grooming your dog, we generally take between 2.5 to 3 hours, depending on size, breed, and coat condition. We also take time to get to know your dog, understand their temperament, and establish trust. We'll also take notes about coat, your preferred haircut style, and your dog's individual preferences. This ensures that future visits take less time and are more enjoyable for your dog.
We make it a point to groom your dog in the comfort of your home. It's stressful enough for a dog to be groomed, and having to go through the process in an unfamiliar environment may cause fear, anxiety, and aggression. Our in-home approach ensures that your dog feels safe throughout the process. After all, you can be right there to keep them company. We use the safest, most gentle tools and techniques to minimize discomfort for your dog. At no point will we require your dog to be caged.
As local dog groomers, we do our best to accommodate your schedule. We recommend booking at least 7-10 days ahead of time to guarantee an agreeable time slot. Same-day appointments tend to be difficult for us to manage, but we will do our best if you are pressed for time.
