Full professional groom includes:

Shampoo and coat conditioning
State of the art Hydrobath that ensures your pup gets the deepest bubbly wash that leaves the coat smelling fresh and clean
Eye and outer ear cleaning
Ear plucking on request (breed specific)
Nail clipping
Paw pad clearing
Brush/comb/matt removal (close cut is a last resort)
Carding and de-shedding
Cut and style: A specific cut based on breed standard or your individual style of choice

Additional services

· Ultrasonic tooth cleaning
· Anal glands expression
· Preparation for show
· Flea and Tick treatment
· Hand Strip (breed specific)

NB. If live fleas are detected on your dog, an automatic charge for a flea bath treatment will be applicable

*Please do not ask me to shave your dog, with some breeds this will damage their coat forever!

The Appointment

Bookings are based on breed and type of service. On your first visit, you can expect it to take anywhere between 2 to 3.5 hours, depending on breed and coat condition. Working one on one with your dog the first visit is very important as I like to get to know your dog and build a relationship, so they are perfectly at ease. Notes will be taken about coat, haircut style and methods used, receptivity and demeanour, so that for future visits I know your dog’s likes and dislikes.

If you have time constraints, please let me know ahead of time. I am usually scheduled about 8 weeks ahead of time for appointments, and at Christmas I am typically scheduled approx 9-10 weeks in advance.
Same day appointments are rare, however I will try to accommodate you and will keep a waiting list during busy times.

Pricing

Like all professional groomers, prices are based on breed, size, length and condition of coat.

The price may vary depending on the condition of the coat, special treatments that may be needed and extra time taken for those that really don’t wish to be groomed!

If it is going to be painful for the pet, de-matting or stripping will not be undertaken as your dog’s welfare is our primary concern. I may recommend clipping the coat back but will avoid shaving as this may damage the re-growth of the coat that can lead to alopecia. In these extreme circumstances a disclaimer may need to be signed.
